Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and socio-economic trends to forecast 2026 market opportunities
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities
- Build predictive models for industry disruption scenarios
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor innovation teams in futures thinking methodologies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategy, Technology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption cycles
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, Web3, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation roadmaps
