What you'll achieve: Lead strategic foresight initiatives that drive multi-year innovation roadmaps, identify disruptive market opportunities before they materialize, and develop future-proof business models. You'll present to C-suite executives and influence product development across our global portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks for future-proofing business operations and customer experiences
- Design scenario-planning models for geopolitical, economic, and technological disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers and designers to translate foresight into actionable prototypes
- Present trend reports and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to identify breakthrough innovation opportunities
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and benchmark competitive futures strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Deep expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology adoption curves
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience with AI-driven forecasting tools and predictive analytics platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
