Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks for emerging markets and industry verticals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable roadmaps
- Partner with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with long-term futures
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging trends and their implications
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and public speaking experience
- Published thought leader in futures or innovation (TED talks, journals, books)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational strategy through futures work
