Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and socio-economic trends to forecast industry disruptions through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on innovation priorities
- Produce trend reports and whitepapers that inform corporate strategy
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry forums
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Expertise in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills
- Experience with AI/ML trend prediction tools and scenario planning software
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Portfolio published in futurist or innovation publications preferred
