Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Horizon Dynamics' 2026-2030 technology foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Produce high-impact strategic briefings for executive board on disruptive technologies and market inflection points
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer breakthrough innovations
- Design and implement horizon scanning systems to identify emerging risks and opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists and drive cultural adoption of strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record translating future insights into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, biotech, or clean energy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, Business Strategy, or related field
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience delivering C-level strategic briefings
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, patents, or industry journals)
