Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technological, economic, and social trends impacting 2026+ industries
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to identify high-impact innovation opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps
- Author visionary thought leadership content positioning Horizon Labs as a futurist authority
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation concepts
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive disruption vectors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed narratives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused product development
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into market-leading products
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, WFS)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning frameworks
