Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks (scenario planning, trend analysis, weak signal detection)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions and business models
- Author executive briefings and whitepapers on disruptive opportunities and systemic risks
- Build and nurture an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Quantify market readiness and adoption timelines for breakthrough technologies
- Advose leadership on strategic pivots and long-term resource allocation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years applying strategic foresight methodologies in corporate or consulting environments
- Proven track record translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in trend mapping and systems thinking
- Strong communication abilities to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFCS) preferred
