Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts for 2026+
- Develop strategic frameworks for next-gen product innovation and market positioning
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype future-facing solutions (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Present foresight insights to stakeholders through compelling executive narratives
- Establish innovation pipelines with 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to integrate future-proof technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of delivering market-defining innovation roadmaps
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio of published foresight work or patented innovations
