Responsibilities
- Forecast disruptive technologies and market trends through horizon scanning and data modeling
- Develop 5-10 year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify exponential opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical, societal, and technological signals impacting 2026+ landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of developing successful long-term innovation strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and emerging technology assessment
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures clearly
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or implemented innovation strategies
