Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technological, economic, and sociocultural trends through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate next-generation solutions
- Produce trend reports and white papers for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-concept innovations
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Proficiency with futures methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Demonstrated ability to translate foresight into executable business strategies
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or future trends
- Experience working with AI/ML, biotech, or quantum computing domains
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for diverse audiences
