Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies and market disruptors through 2026
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership content positioning Horizon Dynamics as a 2026 innovation leader
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, corporate foresight, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized products/services
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech disruption vectors
- Exceptional scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating published future trend analyses or innovation frameworks
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning platforms)
