Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into innovation roadmaps
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and scenario planning documents
- Monitor geopolitical, regulatory, and cultural shifts impacting tech ecosystems
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for 2026 market demands
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurism and innovation conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism research
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Proven track record of translating trends into business strategy
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, Economics, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and communicating complex ideas to diverse stakeholders
