Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions impacting 2026-2030
- Develop and implement innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech advancements
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track innovation ecosystem maturity
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and disruption vectors
- Drive cross-functional adoption of foresight methodologies across product development
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption modeling frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures or innovation journals
- Experience scaling innovation ecosystems in Fortune 500 environments
