Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive horizon scanning across quantum computing, biotechnology, AI ethics, and space exploration domains
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves and societal transformation impacts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create innovation roadmaps with 10+ year horizons
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on emerging tech futures
- Advise executive leadership on strategic implications of disruptive technologies
- Build and maintain global network of futurists, technologists, and academic pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory landscapes affecting technological trajectories
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (e.g., quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional systems thinking and pattern recognition across complex global systems
- Experience translating futuristic concepts into executable business strategies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities with data visualization skills
- Published thought leadership in reputable futures or technology publications
