Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating future trends into actionable product and service strategies
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Present foresight frameworks to C-suite executives and board members using data-driven narratives
- Monitor global megatrends (climate, AI, biotech) and assess organizational preparedness
- Design and facilitate future-thinking workshops for stakeholders across 5+ industries
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive technologies and societal impacts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (IEEE, Harvard Business Review, etc.)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
