Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) to map 3-5 year innovation horizons
- Design strategic roadmaps for market disruption in 2026+ scenarios
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-facing solutions
- Develop 'pre-emptive patents' and intellectual property portfolios
- Partner with C-suite to embed future-readiness into corporate strategy
- Present foresight frameworks to global stakeholders at Davos and CES
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary Horizon Methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or R&D leadership
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on future technologies
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in Python, R, or other data analysis frameworks
- Portfolio of 3+ future-focused projects with measurable impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
