Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts affecting 2026 landscapes
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational goals and emerging societal trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable foresight reports
- Partner with product teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions in agile sprints
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and industry publications
- Mentor junior futurists while cultivating an ecosystem of external innovators and academic partners
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning, system dynamics modeling, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight strongly preferred
