Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps for quantum AI, neurotech, and sustainable tech domains
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology sectors
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Design and validate future-state prototypes in our innovation lab
- Manage strategic partnerships with leading research institutions and startups
- Author thought leadership content positioning Horizon Labs as a 2026 tech pioneer
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, R&D, or innovation roles with proven 2020-2025 tech disruption impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic AI
- Published research or patents in future-tech methodologies
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP, Delphi) and trend analysis platforms
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation portfolio
- Track record of launching products/services with $50M+ market impact
