Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, societal, and economic domains
- Develop strategic foresight scenarios and innovation roadmaps for 2026+ market positioning
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with executive leadership teams
- Monitor global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess competitive implications
- Lead prototype development for future-facing products and services
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and publish thought leadership
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, Web3)
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record of implementing innovation strategies with measurable ROI
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFCS preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or publications
