Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026-2030 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D priorities and market-entry strategies
- Produce executive-grade strategic briefings and visualizations for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish and nurture partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and think tanks focused on emerging technologies
- Design and implement organizational foresight capabilities including training programs and trend-tracking systems
- Present strategic recommendations at industry conferences and publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPC from APF) or equivalent professional designation
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic implementations based on future-oriented analysis
