Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps using scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling future-focused solutions (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Present future intelligence insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with research institutions, startups, and global innovation ecosystems
- Design and implement ethical frameworks for emerging technology adoption
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of anticipatory leadership
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and innovation strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial innovations
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future insights or implemented innovation strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., CFPS) strongly preferred
