- Identify emerging technology trends and assess their commercial viability and competitive impact
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and industry pioneers
- Present innovation roadmaps and investment proposals to executive leadership and board members
- Mentor technical teams on future-focused methodologies and disruptive innovation frameworks
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes affecting 2026 technology adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies with measurable business impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotechnology
- Executive-level experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps with $10M+ budgets
- PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field required
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or peer-reviewed research
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills across technical, business, and government domains
- Fluency in future forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
