What you'll achieve:
- Architect long-term technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Identify and integrate breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics frameworks, etc.)
- Lead innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish KPI frameworks for future-readiness metrics
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology innovation pipeline
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future-state solutions
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout disruptive startups
- Create predictive models for technology adoption curves
- Author quarterly future-tech trend briefings for executive leadership
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Certification in technology management or innovation strategy preferred
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership on future tech trends
- Master's degree in Technology, Business, or related field
