Responsibilities
- Architect long-term technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead research and development of AI/ML, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 5+ year adoption potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget with ROI-driven allocation
- Oversee cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and futurists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented tech products
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging fields: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in future technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Fluency in AI/ML frameworks and quantum programming languages
