- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Partner with product teams to incubate next-gen solutions addressing climate resilience and digital equity
- Present strategic frameworks to investors and board members securing $50M+ annual R&D budgets
- Establish KPIs for tech adoption and innovation ROI across global operations
- Mentor a team of futurists and data scientists driving experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of scaling R&D budgets >$30M and launching enterprise innovations
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in IEEE/Nature journals on technological convergence
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech standards
