Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive innovations with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market projections
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Quantify ROI and risk mitigation strategies for experimental technologies
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Drive innovation workshops to foster cross-functional ideation and prototyping
- Monitor global tech policy developments and their implications on business strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of successfully implementing emerging technologies in enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or biotech convergence
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
