Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough innovations with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Design ethical frameworks for AI and automation implementation
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage technology innovation budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years at executive level
- Proven track record in launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
- Certified in technology foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Technique)
- Experience managing global innovation teams across multiple time zones
