Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into commercial offerings
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Manage innovation lab budgets and vendor relationships for emerging tech
- Mentor junior strategists and build talent pipelines for future tech roles
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or product innovation leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and implementing future-focused solutions
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and market modeling
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with agile methodologies and innovation frameworks (e.g., Design Thinking)
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic planning preferred
