Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Secure $5M+ in R&D grants and partnerships with DARPA, NASA, and academic institutions
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Patent and commercialize 3+ breakthrough technologies annually
- Mentor a team of 8 futurists and technology architects
- Author industry white papers cited by WEF and MIT Tech Review
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years applied experience
- Published research in Nature/Science with 50+ citations
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from lab to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Executive-level stakeholder management experience
- Patent portfolio or commercialized products in emerging tech
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
