- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify market disruption opportunities and competitive threats
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology implementation
- Produce strategic reports on regulatory landscapes and ethical frameworks for emerging tech
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness metrics across all business units
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate next-gen startup investments
- Represent the company at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale companies
- Expertise in forecasting technology adoption curves (Gartner Hype Cycle experience preferred)
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Published thought leadership in future technology ethics or policy
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks (STEEP, PESTLE) with 2026+ horizons
