Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum computing, AI neural interfaces, and biotech integrations
- Establish KPI frameworks for emerging tech adoption ROI and competitive advantage
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic labs and DARPA-funded initiatives
- Present future-vision roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Conduct horizon-scanning for exponential technologies (AGI, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Mentor a cohort of futurist researchers and innovation architects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in exponential tech forecasting
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent on emerging technologies
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations
- Mastery of scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle models
- Expertise in quantum computing, AGI ethics, or neurotech convergence
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Biotechnology preferred
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets and managing R&D portfolios
