Responsibilities
- Lead development of 2026 technology strategy roadmap, identifying key innovation vectors and disruptive opportunities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess market readiness for 2026 adoption
- Architect cross-functional innovation programs with $10M+ annual budgets
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor senior engineers and product leads on future-facing technical capabilities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Drive patent strategy and IP portfolio development for next-gen technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies with published industry insights or patents
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and business domains
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Demonstrated success in securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Deep network within global tech innovation ecosystems
