- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for disruptive tech sectors
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts and investment recommendations to C-suite executives
- Drive organizational adoption of agile innovation methodologies
- Oversee ethics and sustainability frameworks for future technology deployments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy with 3+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven experience implementing AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, blockchain, and IoT ecosystems
- Certification in Technology Innovation Management (e.g., CTO Academy)
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding for strategic initiatives
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and Austin tech innovation circles
