Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech, and AI convergence
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives with MIT, Stanford, and EU Innovation Labs
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis
- Secure $10M+ in grants from NSF, DARPA, and Horizon Europe programs
- Present findings at Davos, Web Summit, and UN Technology Forums
- Mentor PhD fellows in future technology ethics and policy development
- Produce annual 'State of 2026 Tech' whitepapers for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies (post-2020)
- Track record securing >$5M in government/VC funding for R&D projects
- Expertise in quantum machine learning or synthetic biology workflows
- Experience testifying before congressional tech policy committees
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or Q#)
- Portfolio of deployed AI systems with >1M users or equivalent impact
