- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, Web3, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives and industry disruption
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling futuristic solutions (minimum viable futures)
- Conduct scenario planning for technological disruptions and geopolitical impacts on digital transformation
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future tech strategies into enterprise architecture
- Represent company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership on future tech adoption
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for experimental tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum, AR/VR)
- Track record of launching products/services with 5+ year market foresight
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Technology Foresight, Strategic Innovation, or equivalent
- Experience leading global cross-functional teams in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies (IEEE, ACM, etc.)
- Fluency in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
