You'll have the autonomy to build and lead a dedicated innovation lab while influencing multi-billion dollar investment decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market evolution
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation impact and ROI on future-tech initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Build and manage a cross-functional innovation team of 8-12 specialists
- Forge partnerships with leading research institutions and startups in emerging tech sectors
- Oversee $5M+ annual innovation budget allocation and resource optimization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in executive leadership roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or Web3
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $3M annually
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or future trends
- Strong network connections with Silicon Valley tech ecosystem leaders
- Certification in emerging technology assessment (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle methodology)
