Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and measure ROI of futuristic initiatives
- Build strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry leaders to co-develop next-gen solutions
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Champion ethical AI implementation and sustainable tech practices across all initiatives
- Mentor a team of technology futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, with 5+ years focused on future-tech forecasting
- Proven track record of implementing disruptive technologies in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends (Web3, generative AI, neuromorphic computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Technology Management
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management preferred
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 3-5 year technology roadmaps
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and Austin tech ecosystems
