Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology adoption roadmaps across business units
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive technologies (quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Establish KPI frameworks for emerging technology ROI and risk assessment
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation with long-term business objectives
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
- Present strategic insights to executive board and investor stakeholders
- Build and mentor a team of future technology analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies to commercial viability
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight qualification preferred
- Experience with technology adoption frameworks (Gartner, Hype Cycle)
- Exceptional analytical modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in future technology trends
