Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, Web3) to inform 5-year strategic plans
- Develop market entry strategies for futuristic products targeting 2026 launch windows
- Lead innovation sprints with engineering teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Present technology roadmaps to investors and board members with data-driven forecasts
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups for R&D collaboration
- Conduct competitive analysis in emerging tech verticals (biotech, autonomous systems)
- Mentor junior strategists on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record launching products with 3+ year market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, blockchain, or quantum computing
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight certification preferred
- Experience presenting to C-suite and investment committees
- Prior work in B2B SaaS or hardware innovation
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ strategic initiatives with measurable ROI
