Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, decentralized AI) for strategic integration
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-backed ROI models
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Build patent portfolios for proprietary future-tech innovations
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis
- Report on technology adoption curves and competitive disruption risks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching tech-forward products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Experience building technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals on emerging technologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
