Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, decentralized AI) and assess commercial viability
- Design and implement pilot programs for next-gen solutions in partnership with engineering teams
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and investors to secure funding and buy-in
- Build and manage a network of industry experts, startups, and academic institutions
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
- Drive innovation workshops to foster creative problem-solving across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or services
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (e.g., Web3, biotech, AGI)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Experience securing $1M+ budgets for experimental projects
- Strong presentation skills with executive audience experience
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from Foresight Institute) preferred
