Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating AI, blockchain, and quantum computing applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Anticipate emerging tech trends and regulatory impacts through market analysis
- Secure strategic partnerships with academia and industry leaders
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board members
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused allocation
- Mentor junior futurists through our Tech 2026 incubator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching AI/quantum products in regulated industries
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IBM AI Ethics) or Quantum Computing
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method)
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Security clearance preferred for government-contract work
