Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging trends and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Analyze global tech patents, academic research, and startup ecosystems to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech strategies into business transformation
- Present compelling vision narratives to stakeholders and investors using data-driven storytelling
- Curate an internal 'Future Radar' system tracking signals of technological convergence
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching products/services based on future-tech forecasting
- Expertise in at least three of: AI ethics, quantum computing, bio-integration, or climate-tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to map complex technological interdependencies
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry conferences
- Fluency in scenario planning frameworks and horizon scanning methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-tech strategy implementation
