Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in evaluating and prototyping emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Collaborate with product teams to translate technological insights into commercial products
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and boards
- Manage innovation budget allocation and ROI tracking for technology initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or corporate innovation
- Proven track record in developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or strategy (preferred)
