- Develop and implement future technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market projections
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in our Silicon Valley R&D labs
- Present strategic technology forecasts to investors and board members with data-driven impact assessments
- Mentor senior engineers and product managers on future-proofing architecture and design principles
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for collaborative R&D initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption and adapt strategy accordingly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching products leveraging emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain)
- Deep expertise in future forecasting methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills presenting complex concepts to C-suite and technical teams
- Published thought leadership on tech disruption (IEEE, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and strategic modeling software
