Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends and market shifts to inform 5-year strategic planning
- Develop scenario models for emerging technologies (quantum AI, biotech convergence, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis and identify first-mover opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Build relationships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor regulatory landscapes affecting emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends
- Experience scaling technology roadmaps from concept to execution
