Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI systems with ethical guardrails
- Advocate for sustainable tech practices in climate resilience and circular economy solutions
- Partner with policymakers to shape global technology governance frameworks
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive threats and opportunities in tech convergence
- Design human-centered interfaces for complex systems in post-human augmentation
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in futurism, systems theory, or emerging tech
- 5+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum, bio-engineering, or AGI
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technology ethics or innovation
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies
- Track record of securing $1M+ in innovation grants or R&D funding
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Certification in Sustainable Technology Governance (STG) preferred
