Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market implications
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead innovation workshops and hackathons to generate breakthrough concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into development pipelines
- Monitor competitive landscape and identify first-mover opportunities
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for pilot projects and research initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or product innovation leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption cycles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Experience building and scaling innovation programs in enterprise environments
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional presentation skills for C-level audiences
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner)
