Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging tech trends through market research, patent analysis, and academic partnerships
- Architect strategic roadmaps for 2026 technology adoption across IoT, quantum computing, and neuro interfaces
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Develop regulatory compliance frameworks for next-gen technologies
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Drive innovation sprints with R&D labs and university accelerators
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and their impact on implementation timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record launching commercialized emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced AI
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology certification
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and scenario planning projects
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Exceptional written and verbal communication for complex technical concepts
