Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts and emerging trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, carbon-negative tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 5+ year commercial potential
- Partner with C-suite to integrate strategic tech initiatives into corporate vision
- Establish KPIs for innovation adoption and track ROI of experimental technologies
- Represent InnovateX at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable energy)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year horizons
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Delphi 2.0)
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (startups, academia, VCs)
- Certification in emerging technology or innovation management preferred
